Lisa-Anne Ferris brings a combination of higher education and consultant experiences to the Learning House team. In addition to serving as an Partnership Managers, Lisa is currently an Adjunct Professor of online education for the University of Louisville, where she teaches an array of classes in Organizational Leadership. Her experiences as both former student and current professor of online education give her a unique insight into the opportunities and challenges of the online modality.
Before joining the Learning House team in 2015, Lisa worked as a performance improvement and human capital consultant for various workgroups in Louisville, KY and Denver, CO. Her consultant experiences have enabled her to facilitate the systemic development of organizational structures and designs
Lisa-Anne has a passion for workforce development, adult and organizational learning, and the alignment between business/industry and higher education. Throughout her graduate studies, Lisa-Anne focused on secondary and postsecondary student engagement and achievement for nontraditional students. These themes drive her interest in the promotion of distance learning as the future of higher education.
Lisa-Anne earned her Ph.D in Educational Leadership and Organization Development, as well as her M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville. She holds a double B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Kentucky.
