"I held my first live chat and students loaded their first discussion files TODAY! All went well. We plan four more courses with [Learning House] for the spring."

Learning House provides the IntraLearn, Moodle and Wimba learning management systems. The IntraLearn and Moodle learning management system provides multiple functions for the administrator, registrar, instructor and student. The administrator is able to download reports on student participation and performance. The registrar is able to enroll students through a batch upload system that is easy to use. The instructor is able to manage the course content, announcements, calendar, discussion board, chat (class) meetings, assignments, exams (quizzes, mid-term and final), gradebook (regular or customized) and teams function. All the elements of text, case studies, games, graphics, audio files and video presentations are embedded in the online course. The student is able to access the learning management system with a computer and Internet access via a username and password.
The Wimba Live Classroom system enables the instructor to conduct a synchronous classroom at anytime via a computer, Internet access and a headset. Live Classroom enables the instructor to make presentations, use whiteboard, show documents or have students show their documents, show video, survey students, organize work teams and conduct exams from their computer. Class presentations can be archived for later asynchronous access.
