- ANALYSIS
Analyzes the instructional needs and design of the program and course. - VISIONING
Develops vision of the program and course with stakeholders. - WRITING
Writes and prepares content of the course. - EDITING
Edits content of course. - TRANSFERRING
Transfers content to course management system(s). - PILOTING AND TESTING
Conducts alpha and beta testing of course content on course management systems.
The online course consists of learning objectives, original text, assignments, discussion questions, exams (quizzes, mid-term and final), graphics, games, PowerPoint presentations with audio, case studies, glossary, frequently asked questions, library references and Web links. The online course may include video and audio presentations, as well as customized simulations and animations.
