Effective e-mail marketing requires strategy. Remember that the Web pages people land on when they click through a message to follow your call to action is involved. It may not matter the number of open rates or click-through rates if the landing page does not carry the reviewer through to their goal to read what you have to offer.

On January 15, 2007, Kentucky State University launched the first online Master of Art in Special Education with a certification in Learning and Behavior Disorders by a historically black university. Learning House partnered with Kentucky State University to build, what has proven to be, a very successful online campus from the ground up. KSU’s vision was to bring the Master of Arts in Special Education online in order to recruit culturally diverse individuals into the teaching profession. Learning House was there to make that vision a reality by offering KSU a total eLearning services package.

The Educator and the CEO

Dr. Denzil Edge is both an educator and a CEO of a major technology company. His book on “Communicating with Parents and Children of Exceptional Children“, in its fourth edition was recently released by Love Publishing Company. Drs. Roger Kroth and Denzil Edge discuss strategies to improve communication between schools and families of children with special needs. This approach combines innovative strategies with daily activities designed to improve communication between the school and families of special needs children.

The text addresses the changing family structure and takes the stance that parents and educators should be partners in educating children. Listening skills and positive communication are the heart of building positive relationships between family members and professionals. This book discusses tactics to handle parent - teacher conferences, progress reports, group meetings, parent training, and planning programs.

At Arlington Baptist College, Mark McDaniel serves as the Assistant Dean of Students, for the United States; he serves as Major Mark McDaniel of the Air Force Reserve. His story begins 27 years ago when he first enlisted as a young adult and follows him through several tours of duty across the United States and overseas.

When Mark McDaniel first decided to join the Air Force, he was acting on two influences. His father’s own military career in the Air Force served as an inspiration. His father served the United States over the course of 30 years beginning with World War II and ending in 1970 with Vietnam. The second driving force was the desire to serve his country. Both motivated a young Mark McDaniel to join the Air Force.
