Kentucky Wesleyan College will be offering several general education courses online. The online courses offer a new technology and convenience for students. Students will be able to take a course or two this summer with the option of transferring the credits to another college. Students will be able to participate in class, submit assignments electronically and chat with professors through instant messaging, without ever setting foot in a classroom.
The new online courses will accommodate the growing number of students the college enrolls each year. “Today’s students have hectic schedules and the online classes will be ideal for busy people. Kentucky Wesleyan College is also excited about the opportunity to serve rural areas and students with disabilities who may not have accessibility to educational resources,” said Pat McFarling, Director of Library & Academic Information Services.
