Jim Lintner

Jim Lintner is the Controller for The Learning House, Inc. and has been with the company since May 2008. In his current role, he manages the Accounting, Finance and Human Resources departments. Prior to joining Learning House, Mr. Lintner founded LASER Accounting & Consulting Services, a business services company serving the accounting and operational needs of small businesses and individuals in Kentucky.

Mr. Lintner has served in financial and operational roles for several successful startups, including Spreadshirt, Inc. and RentalHouses.com, as Director of Finance & Operations and Chief Financial Officer, respectively. In 2004, he was part of the senior management team at Strategic Marketing, Inc. that was recognized by the selection committee of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Mr. Lintner earned his undergraduate degree from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy with a secondary concentration in Finance. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree from Bellarmine University’s Rubel School of Business in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mr. Lintner is a member of several professional organizations, including the Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KyCPA) and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). He also serves as a member of the Bellarmine University MBA Alumni Advisory Board.

Mr. Lintner currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife and three children.
