Director of Client Services

Diane Kasselhut

Having experienced online education as both a student and an instructional designer, Learning House Director of Client Services Diane Kasselhut is uniquely qualified to understand the needs of instructors and students in online settings.

As a non-traditional student, Ms. Kasselhut graduated from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. Desiring to continue her education, yet realizing her choices were limited due to her remote location in Western Colorado, she investigated online educational opportunities. As part of the University of Northern Colorado’s first, all-online Instructional Technology cohort, she graduated with a Master of Arts in 2006.

At the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, Ms. Kasselhut initiated the development of Real Estate Weekly, a weekly advertising supplement, along with numerous other advertorial sections.

In 1998, Ms. Kasselhut established Write Connections, a freelance graphic design business in Western Colorado, through which she delivered writing, editing and graphic design services for eight years. Among her clients were Philmont Scout Ranch, Colorado National Monument, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Mesa State College.

Ms. Kasselhut was also employed as Managing Editor of The Beacon, a nationally award-winning senior-focused newspaper in Colorado and as Editor of Barbecue & Beverage Magazine, a nationally distributed magazine.

In the fall of 2006, Ms. Kasselhut relocated to Louisville, Kentucky, where she was employed by The Learning House, Inc. as a Content Development Specialist, a position that called upon her to manage special projects and provide support to more than 70 faculty members at eight schools. Now, as Director of Client Services, she looks forward to managing the delivery of great customer service to all Learning House partner schools.

Ms. Kasselhut appreciates that she was given the opportunity to further her education by attending classes online, and she wants to ensure that those opportunities are readily available to others who wish to further their education.
