Our History:
Learning House was founded in 2001 by Denzil Edge, Ph.D., who for many years had carefully studied the ways institutions of higher education could develop efficient, reliable and effective distance learning programs. After years of fine tuning concepts and models, Dr. Edge reached the conclusion that smaller, independent schools often lacked the resources to compete with larger state universities that had substantial financial and human resource advantages. As a result, Learning House was formed to create an online publishing and delivery system that assists colleges and universities in their efforts to tap into the growing need of serving traditional and adult students.
